The New Age Group Focus

New book excerpt!

Interdependence is to become a major part of our lives within self, our families, nations and continents, in fact within all human endeavours

In 1967, in a stage of meditation, Elias was informed that he was chosen to start group work in a different way.  He learned that we were not to deny males or females based on their gender, but that we were to work first with ourselves.  This involves coming to realize that all groups - families, cultures, and countries, etc., need to be unified.  One day Elias was told that we will be unified by a single language, but this will not happen for a very long time.  So, I have revised systems of consulting how to come to terms that group work is part of the process of evolution from now on.  It will take state of consciousness on how to work together and not deny participation together.  We find that females are demanding more responsibility to rule, and the male feels highly threatened by this – so there is tremendous anger, resentment and divorce.  We have been finding that the Vatican is denying females’ participation in the church as priests.  Once again there is anger between the males and females in terms of participation.  Therefore, the New Age is in a flux of how to cooperate and coordinate to have a family based on being together to resolve issues of certain past lives.  To always be seeking peace, happiness, and receiving without any kind of struggle of labour in  the fields of love.  There will be yet many diseases on the basis of being unwilling to relate, and how to realize instead we ought to have humour, concern, gentleness, kindness, and compassion – first for self then to apply to relationships.  The relationship process right now is in chaos because of impulses in the universe that neither male nor female is better than the other.  The unifying principle of the universe requires that at some point we begin to work together in groups and accept each other as we are.  The defining energy of this coming Age of Aquarius is definitely the cooperative effort of groups—individuals, families, nations, cultures—into unifying for the greater changes in the universe.  Interdependence is to become a major part of our lives within self, our families, nations and continents, in fact within all human endeavours.  A group with interdependence consists of individuals who are very self-dependant, yet who want to work and contribute together for a common cause.  This is known as the Synergy Effect.  Synergy is the energy of a group, which is larger than the sum of the individuals’ energy.  Group work entails coordinating and functioning together for the purpose of bringing about change in each individual as well as the group as a whole, and then influencing planetary events in the direction of cooperation.  Group sound (music, sounds, songs of cooperation, Om, the Hum, sounds of expansion and communication) is more powerful than any individual sound and has greater capacity to bring about expansion to the participants and to the events of the group’s focus.  The Hum has the ability to coordinate different group frequencies into expansion and acceptance.  If you have judgement, do the Hum.  What you notice in others is what is inside yourself.  As Anodea Judith describes in Eastern Body, Western Mind, “We must realize that as individuals, our possibilities are limited, but as conscious members of a larger community, we have unlimited potential.”  Processing within the group will be for individual integration, family, male/female work, and then the task of world healing.  The production of self-awareness in the group brings a greater sense of creativity and cooperation.  Another matter is that we have to realize the beauty of the physical form.  The universe has designed these forms on the basis of pleasure as well as participation, in addition to being able to increase the groups by having children.  We have been conditioned by religion to detest the idea of sexuality, which is really just energy from your soul.

A first step in group work would be to organize our own patterns and our own fragments.  And the more we organize them with our sound and action, the more we will align ourselves with soul and the soul’s group

The sound unifies and disengages us from centered selfishness, fear of exposure and so on.  Fear of joining a group is fear of loss of identity.  In fact, the idea of group work is not to lose your identity, but to enhance it within the group. In nature, for example, every part of creation, be it the plant, animal, water or air kingdoms, is more cooperative than we humans, yet each has its own identity that we clearly recognize.  It is now time for the human kingdom to begin cooperating and working together. Each individual’s patterns and issues become clearer to him/her as others begin to identify their own by sharing within the group.  A greater sense of compassion for self and others develops as we begin to see that “I am THIS, but also THAT.”  We find that we are not alone in our struggles. The power of individuals or clusters of energies is identified and individualized with humour.  Even people who are unhealed and disintegrated, when they work in a group focus, can effect a spirit of cooperation.  We find ourselves in a great dilemma now, to be willing to see that we each have both male and female qualities within ourselves.

Group work must begin with self.  Each of us is already a group comprised of the soul and all of our unresolved life fragments as well as expanded ones.  A first step in group work would be to organize our own patterns and our own fragments.  And the more we organize them with our sound and action, the more we will align ourselves with soul and the soul’s group.  Sound supports our goal of aligning self.  It doesn’t do it for us because we have to do the labour of love; it supports our alignment.  In the next group, the biological family situation, we will realize that we are there for the purpose of resolving patterns.  This group process was instituted by the matriarchy in Lemuria for the very purpose of establishing relationships conducive to the experiencing and resolution of all of life’s patterns and issues.  It is still in process, it will take quite some time to transform the past into the present.

The evolved soul is androgynous—female and male flowing together.  The goal is to express this through the personality.  Competition between male and female is still going on so there is great resistance to integration, but be aware that there is no escaping this experiential process.

So how is the harmonics of vibrational sound and colour going to facilitate this process?  Integration and acceptance comes when a person knows and comes to terms with the fact that they are both male and female.  Purple-violet has to do with all the activities of self—male and female within, groups, family, relationships and communication, and the realization that we are coming to some particular kind of expansion that will present a lot of struggles.  We begin to communicate together and have a sense of what we’re doing and how we’re doing it.  We must accept that we are part of all these activities or patterns of experiencing.  In the past we have achieved some sense of security through making excuses or being defensive, blaming or criticizing others, or avoiding relationships and groups through our fear of exposure.  All this has kept us from integration and self-acceptance.  It is now time to lay these behaviours aside and to realize that self can only be revealed within the context of groups or relationships.  Do not break into smaller groups in order to talk about others.  It will disrupt the flow of the group and the function is out of ego not soul.

As we begin our work with vibrational methods involving sound and colour qualities, it will be important to always be aware of our motive and our purpose.  We must always ask ourselves, “What is our intent?  Why are we doing this?”

The more expansion and resonance we have within ourselves and the more we have integrated our own male and female, the more aware we will be of how to use our voices, how to speak, what kinds of words to use, what meanings the words have, and how to shift from limitations to a more positive interpretation of word values with humour, crying and laughter.

Group work involves relating with cooperation and awareness of what needs to be done.  Verbalizing our attitudes and motives with a willingness to express the self openly without fear of rejection, criticism, or judgment helps unify the group.  The group must give permission to each person to express what they feel without interruption or comparisons.  We will learn much about ourselves by listening to others and by relating to what they have experienced.  We need to trust ourselves within the group and how we express ourselves.  The more integration we have within ourselves the more expansion potential there is.

The idea that we can separate from the patterns and situations of the biological family group that our soul put us into at birth is illusory.  We are a part of the experiencing patterns of this whole group.  Whatever we resist in the group or family is still within self.  When we get disappointed within our relationships or the male/female aspects within ourselves, or when we are not very confrontational because we want to be kind and merciful, we need to ask ourselves why we are doing it?  Are we doing it to control?  Or are we doing it on the basis of communication or participation?  It is important to know what our motive is and then go forth with it.  The soul’s purpose is for us to identify and transform self through this group process.  The fragment parts from soul want to continue being what they have always been.  The family or group acts as a resistance for change.  One of the major components of group work is marriage on the basis of coordination and cooperation to evolve.  It is a conscious commitment between two people, regardless of religious or societal connotations.  Our responsibility is to come to terms with how to transform these fragment parts with humour and with acceptance and appreciation by sharing, which is true love.

As we begin our work with vibrational methods involving sound and colour qualities, it will be important to always be aware of our motive and our purpose.  We must always ask ourselves, “What is our intent?  Why are we doing this?”  If, for example, our motive in applying these methods is to feel peaceful or less stressed, our work will not be productive.  Transforming with the aid of vibrational sound and colour qualities means we have to go through the resistance and struggle with the experience of why we are in it.  We can use the sound to break through situations rather than try to escape them.  Using vibrational sounds, colours and qualities to avoid the struggle of any experience is not the purpose of this particular system.  This system is based on responsibility to what we resist most, and day by day to use the sound to go through a situation we deny rather than hope the sound will do it for us.  Sound is the tool, not the ultimate aspect of transformation.  We may sing beautifully, but if we don’t sing with feeling or emotion we won’t have acceptance of the quality and our sound will not engage the attention of others.  Sound, by itself, won’t transform the quality for us, action and experience will.
